Seizures More Frequent

Day 40: Fun with the Thai girls

In the last week actually happened is not much that would be worthy of its own entry, but it was beautiful. We have a new course in newspaper reading teacher: Ms Jiang (姜), who speaks very good Mandarin, but much too fast. I understand very little, although I realize that it speaks very clearly. The effect that I understand some people better if they talk faster seems, so far only a few people to act (eg, Haiyan and her friend Qinghua). What else is new ... Takumi has recently slept 14 hours, how does he do? Furthermore, I was eating with Haiyan in the Box Bar
kebabs. Yes, they have the right Turkish Doner Kebab
German! However, he is not quite as in Germany, even if it costs the same ... very small, few vegetables, tastes of soft bread and meat are also slightly different. Find out more, including photo, later times in a separate entry on the Chinese food. ^ ^
I found out that one of our Lao people actually listened to the Miao minority and actually
Bai speaks Hmong - unfortunately we have 3 dialects of this language in ASJP, presumably his. But I think even out yet. Also, I've got a Chinese made, The studies here at the University of Khmer ... did not know that this here also. My parents have booked the flight: that is, becoming next year between May and June, I travel with them together by China. That's why I let longer trips away for the month because I will still see the whole place anyway. By the way, there's now a Turkish students in the same class, from İstanbul, I had him referred to the same restaurant Salar, perhaps even their languages are mutuelle intelligible. ;)

But I did a lot with the Thais, lately. The girls had even invited us to ever

fire pot dinner, now we have it like them done and they even invited - the same restaurant, because there's so delicious, cheap, and was also practically. We have four guys pay for us and the 5 Thai girls, which cost 109 yuan (11.86 €). Speaking of Thai ... Suttida (aka Tik
, the bespectacled girl in the photo) now bring me in Thai, that is, as a linguist I elizitiere just individual words and sentences and tinker me so my spelling and my grammar together themselves. The latter is quite as expected unkomplex and is somewhat similar to Chinese and Indonesian, listen out the 5 tones, so I've still problems. But I can say quite a bit, and my sentences - as I am assured - always grammatically. After the fire pot meal (火锅, CIMG4049 huǒguō ), we are all still pulled in a bar, drank, sunflower kernels nibbled (# 1 snack food in China!) and later even played drinking games. Was very funny, but no one was badly drunk. Oho! Funny, I think, incidentally, that every Thai has a (usually) one-syllable nickname, which is somehow more important and common than generally here in Germany or Europe. I have no nickname for example, the hot Thai girls for five (in IPA transcription): [tics], [muǎj] [Technology], [ʔɯ ː aj]
and
[bo ː] . Penultimate sounds like it had to be passed straight. Yesterday we were back on the road with the Thais. They have invited us to a fairly sharp food in the north of the city, but it is still tasty. After this we were by the Thai veterans (they are much longer here in Kunming than us) in another specialty CIMG4063 been Wiehen inaugurated 鸡蛋 粑粑 ( parishioner baba ), a type pancake puff mixture with Bananenmus and egg inside of it in hot oil and rolled on top with icing, served in convenient Portionen. PS: If you feel rushed can, in the following few days another 90 MB large video download, the a Japanese classmate (Mr. Inaba) has put online, simply click on the image, it's really worth seeing :
