the name before I actually learned by heart, that's not that difficult if you spend hours listening to the song, there is to it (see
Current Music ). I'll send the mp3
on request. What we do there though? Tiks sister Taek further had, as they had to do in Bangkok which, Tik and I are a taxi to Suvarnabhumi airport - is spoken by the way, "Suwannaphum (สุวรรณภูมิ
[sùwānnáp ʰ ū ː m] ), yes, Sanskrit names, words, and - texts are in Thai pretty messed up, the "Maha" is coming up really by महानगर
mahānagara (city) - there to rebook my return flight ticket, the guy had ordered for me by phone in Lampang. That was there all really great and free, service is there a top priority. We had to rebook it, because I had to return home earlier than planned because Tiks mother wanted that Tik finally comes home, which fell on her on at all, rumzureisen on holiday with friends. Tsez, tsez, tsez ... The ticket costs 11 000 ฿ proud the way (over 260 €), and I would also have liked more, thanks remained Laos visa to me only 15 days in Thailand and as I said, Tik had then returned to their parents.
Then we went to a van to Chonburi (ชลบุรี
[ʨ ʰ ː ōnbùrī] ), a port city near Bangkok. There, in the district of Sri Racha (ศรีราชา
[si ː ra ː ʨ ʰ ā ː] ) namely Mark waited on us, more to this soon ...
except us in the van was still a single, middle-aged Frenchman who, in lack of knowledge of English was unable to keep up with the bus driver, he could not articulate where he wanted. I tried to help and found that my French (I's had at least 4 years in school) was almost rusted away. I can still help a little and hopefully the Lord has now found his hotel, too.
Sacre Bleu!
in Sri Racha, we were picked up by Mark
, an older Australian who lives there already for 33 years and has a big house with the entire family. Unzufälligerweise Esperantist is the man, so I did namely
Pasporta power - something like couch surfing for Esperanto speakers - had written weeks before. Therefore, we were able to return there for free for a few days in his estate and I have been almost half a year now finally, once again had the opportunity to talk with people in 3D Esperanto.
On the same day and I took a little trip Tik with the remote from Mark for pointing to the wheel put perhaps 1 km of coastline, but was not so nice. Later, a stroll through the market and the city, where it again good food (like
this here , but especially
this here ) gave the scoop there was but the next day:
Since we are in fact to Pattaya (พัทยา
[p ʰ ʰ Att Aja ː] ) run, a tourist resort area, also in Chonburi. There was even more beautiful to see the ocean, but it gets even better with a boat we are on a small island called Koh Larn
Ko Lan (เกาะ ล้าน
[kɔʔ lá ː n] )
down. Boat and island were full
mainly Russian tourists, which I believe them to be correct embarrassing. Beer, Водка, loud music, make up a party and on top without lying around on the beach. Ugly. Tik I could not believe that I suited up
(ie 3 kg makeup + diamond belts, purses and shoes) Russentussen do not find beautiful.
Well. We found the beach
a great range without a lot of foreign tourists, where the proportion of Thais was greater - the one recognizes the fact that they all go swimming with T-shirt. The water was very nice warm and clear, and it was fun waves. Tik is only after long persuasion, come into the water. Of course, with T-shirt. War will be very fun. We almost missed the last boat back to Pattaya, but we had to schedule more time. Pattaya itself, we are still running for some time, the amusement district. Bah, terrible ... Pubs, brothels, feeding tubes, souvenir shops and Thai massage centers, which needs just as the Touri, das meiste auf Russisch und Arabisch(!) beschriftet.
[máhǎ ː wit ʰ Aja ː laj bu ː rap ʰ ā ː] ) - see who had a beautiful
Campus ,
good food in dozens of snacks,
ponds and palm trees and in all respects
modern and clean looked. With the free campus shuttle bus
we went to the Faculty of Education
where all the Thais have studied Chinese in Kunming. Next to us sat two girls with whom we started a conversation, because they wondered why a Thai and farang because Chinese speak ... the question of which languages because I
fluent spoke
(beautifully made precise, very good!) answered, I just, well, German and English, fluent Chinese is not quite as ... and Esperanto.
"You speak Esperanto?" said one then - I wanted to mention's certainly not because I wanted to avoid long explanations and misunderstandings, but the one girl, Tan (ตาล
[ta ː n] ), had even sometimes learned Esperanto. At least for a day. She could at least "amas vin Wed.
say. The two have subsequently invited to the cafeteria and we donated some orange juice. Cool!
in University Buildings we met two other friends of Tik, then Dream, then
the mascot of the Faculty of Education and the state of Sinology . Yes, that was pretty cool ...
The next morning we then moved on, however, Marks has left home, and have taken the bus to our last stop, which I will report tomorrow. Stay tuned for the last part of my Thailand trip!
And sorry that this time there was so much text and so few pictures ... To be continued ...
